The construction of a new extension with link builing back to the main dwelling. A modern form was chosen for the new structures to provide contrast to the original cottage including a striking overhanging first floor structure with full glazing.

New Build Dwelling, Falmouth
The construction of a new waterfront dwelling on a challenging sloped site. The topography and ground conditions required pile foundations and significant retaining walls.

- Design of vaulted roof structure
- Design of steel frame for decking and glass handrailing
New Build Apartments, Newquay
The construction of a block of ten apartments by Project Construction SW with a masonry ground floor structure and timber frame first and second floor structures and steel frames required to the rear. An underpass through the building was required, using steel frames to support the floors above. The upper floor walls cantilevered over the ground floor walls so an overhanging beam and block detail was designed to accommodate.

Barn Conversion, Wadebridge
The conversion of an existing stone built barn to form a new, two storey dwelling with a new extension incorporating a roof terrace. Structural works were required to the existing barn to facilitate the conversion; including a new slab, floor structures and roof structure with feature glazed gable. The modern extension has a glazed corner section and is constructed from timber and steel frame.

New Build Dwelling, Crantock
The construction of a new dwelling incorporating single and two storey elements with a vaulted roof structure throughout. The dwelling formed a replacement class Q barn conversion and incorporates passive and active renewable technology to create an Ecohouse.

Extension and New Build Garage, Ivybridge
The construction of an extension to an existing dwelling using the Nudura ICF wall system where the walls are formed with concrete poured into permanent insulative formers. The design also incorporated a vaulted roof structure and a large opening between the extension and existing dwelling. A new detached garage was also constructed using the same Nudura ICF system incorporating a ‘room in the roof’ structure over.
